Held each spring by Triple S in memory of Bruce H. Janvey, raising funds for cancer research through City of Hope.
An industry that shows up
The Bruce H. Janvey Memorial Golf Tournament is held each spring by Triple S at their annual meeting, in memory of Bruce H. Janvey. Proceeds go to City of Hope, one of the leading cancer research and treatment centers in the country.
Last year it raised more than $500,000.
That money does not come from any one company. It comes from Triple S members and the suppliers who work alongside them — distributors, manufacturers, and reps who spend the rest of the year competing with each other and set it aside for a day.
We take part every year. Not because it is good for business, but because the name on the tournament is family.
Getting involved
The tournament is organised by Triple S as part of their spring meeting. If you are a member or a supplier and want to know how to sponsor, enter a foursome, or donate, we are happy to point you toward the right people.
Sustainability is not a campaign here.
Environmental stewardship has been part of how we specify products since long before it appeared in a bid requirement.
